A fax server is a fax machine based on the computer. These servers are installed on a LAN system and they can be shared with others. Every client with access to the LAN will be able to share content via the fax server just like they would use a shared printer. You can fax content directly from the computer. A fax server is capable of routing the fax to printers, users or even file server directories.
